NEBIMED 5

Nebimed 5mg/tab by Deus Medical contains 5mg of Nebivolol Hydrochloride per tablet, taken orally. Nebivolol is a selective beta-1 adrenergic blocker used primarily to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and, in some cases, heart failure. It works by slowing the heart rate and reducing the force of heart contractions, which lowers blood pressure and reduces the heart's workload.

Unlike traditional beta-blockers, Nebivolol also promotes vasodilation by increasing nitric oxide release in blood vessels, providing additional blood pressure-lowering effects. It is often favored for its cardioselectivity and fewer side effects on metabolism and respiration.

Nebimed is typically prescribed as a once-daily dose of 5mg, with or without food. The dose can be adjusted by a healthcare provider, but usually does not exceed 10mg per day.

This medication is not intended for children or use during pregnancy without medical supervision. Common side effects may include fatigue, headache, dizziness, nausea, or insomnia. Serious but rare side effects can include very slow heart rate, low blood pressure, or breathing difficulties in those with asthma.
